Software Test Automation Design
This class provides an in-depth survey for design of software test automation
including an overview of software test automation and the vocabulary, basic concepts, and how to use an understanding of the
material to automate software tests.
The class covers the fundamentals for advanced software test automation and
extends the concepts to explore architecture and design of automated test tools and tests in more depth.
This class is tool agnostic - not comparing or contrasting specific tool capabilities.
The success and risk factors for each of the automated testing approaches are analyzed and evaluated as part of the class.
Students completing the course will have specific descriptions for the advanced architectures to design, plan, and implement automated testing.
Students completing this course will understand the fundimental and advanced concepts of software test automation and the
practical application of that knowledge.
